Many people with bipolar have what is called a dual disorder – chemical dependency and addiction while also having bipolar disorder. It is important to know the facts about what drinking and drugging can do to your loved one, both physically and emotionally. We offer a course especially for those who are supporting a bipolar addict. This book offers ways to get your loved one help for both the addiction and the bipolar disorder, as well as gives advice on what you realistically can do to improve the situation and get your loved one help.
